Lindsey Simpkins Bio
Lindsey Simpkins is the Area Manager for Mudhouse Coffee Roasters and joined the team in 2018.
Lindsey oversees our Charlottesville area retail stores as well as is our Production Bakery/Kitchen in Crozet. She leads and supports our store management team, from staffing and development/training (HR), to inventory management, product development and management, event management, community connections, and more.
Lindsey has over 14 years of experience in the small business world. She LOVES to work with the local community any chance she gets. Lindsey owned her own successful business for over a decade before coming to Mudhouse Coffee.
Lindsey grew up in Greenville, South Carolina and was traditionally raised with sweet tea, homemade chicken and dumplin's and parents who were both in management. Hard work and determination were key values of her upbringing. Her savvy business experience, creativity, upbringing and last but not least her love of all things coffee has allowed for this pairing to be the perfect fit!
Lindsey enjoys time with her husband, two sons and two adorable puppies. She also has a new found passion for all things plants, at least the ones she can keep alive! If it is artistic she is in, she loves to paint when the time presents itself.
