This exceptional coffee hails from the Guji region of Ethiopia, specifically the Dimtu washing station located in the town of  Hambella. Cultivated by farmers with an average land size of 1 hectare, it is of the JARC 74112 and JARC 74158 Ethiopian heirloom varietals. Harvested from low elevations between October and December and high elevations from November to January ( from 2,100 to 2,250m), the cherry is meticulously handpicked, visually inspected, sorted, and dried on raised beds for approximately 18 days at the technologically advanced Dimtu station. The station, one of the most advanced in the famed Yirgacheffe region, is equipped with Pinhalense (advanced coffee processing) machinery, 150 drying beds, and modern facilities. It is a pivotal facility in processing and exporting natural lots from various sites in Buku, Siqqee, Bedesa, Buluye, and Benti Nenka in the West Guji region.

Ethiopian coffee is celebrated for its diverse flavors and rich history as the birthplace of coffee. Recent regulations have enabled direct purchasing, fostering traceability. In this case, direct partnerships with smallholder farmers ensure the production of high-quality, traceable specialty lots. The genetic diversity of coffee varieties, traditional cultivation methods without chemical inputs, and meticulous processing at Dimtu Station contribute to this coffees exceptional characteristics.
