The name means mutual assistance. They built it to pool resources, share processing, and reach markets that smallholder farmers could not reach alone. Today the cooperative has 334 members, 42% of them women, farming Red Bourbon between 1,800 and 2,000 meters. In 2015 they became Fair Trade certified and won the Rwanda Cup of Excellence in the same year.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\"\u003eThe coffee is natural process.
