When husband and wife duo Ratibor and Tessie Hartmann bought what is now Finca Garumo it was an old pasture farm. The couple quickly set out to reforest the land with native shade trees to provide cover for their coffee plants and the local wildlife. Consisting of 4 hectares at 1,800m, the tiny farm specializes in producing high end varietals of coffee like the AF-2. While it shares many similar qualities to the Panamanian Geisha varietal, the AF-2 presents itself as more herbaceous than outright floral. We have to say that Tessie and Ratibor have yet again knocked it out of the park with this unique coffee!
