The latest 2021 harvest from Finca La Joya is in! Tony Castro operates Finca La Joya located just outside the town of Güinope in El Paraiso, Honduras. We first met Tony in 2020 while he was in the process of establishing direct trade relationships with roasters in the United States. We were immediately impressed with the quality of his beautiful coffees and his dedication to coffee farming. Tony utilizes specially built "solar dryers" that resemble large greenhouses with raised beds stacked inside to dry his coffees. The result is a cup that is clean, sweet, and well rounded.
