In the cup: red berries, candied nectarine, & velvety
23 farmers deliver their cherries for processing at the Suke Drying Station in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Hailing from the village of Uddo Hadammaa, each farmer tends to a relatively small 3-5Ha of coffee. The station belongs to Ture Waji (also know as "The King of Guji!") and his company Sookoo Coffee. Ture and Sookoo have a very strong connection to the land and surrounding communities. In between harvests, Sookoo Coffee dedicates time and resources towards educating local farmers in best agricultural practices with the end goal of producing higher quality coffees.
